Thanks to dozens of Louisville residents and a dedicated team of volunteers, the Louisville Historical Museum has a rich collection of recorded interviews about Louisville's history. (Oral history means recording people's memories and stories in their own words.) Since 2009, the Museum has captured more than 170 hours of these interviews.
Oral history interviews are sometimes shown on Louisville's Channel 8. You can also watch them anytime on YouTube.
